⛳ Oct 1st Blog: Home Safe! My Auction-Winning Clubs Have Arrived!

Good morning!

My stay in the Philippines is over, and I successfully arrived at Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport yesterday morning. It feels great to be home!

Well, a treat was waiting for me as soon as I got back. The new golf clubs and equipment I won at auction while I was in the Philippines had been safely delivered!

I started the unboxing process yesterday afternoon, buzzing with excitement. It's a mountain of cardboard boxes... I'll be busy tidying up for a while, but sorting through these "trophies" is half the fun (lol). I'll start organizing everything gradually from today!

Besides the clubs I brought back from the Philippines, I'll be constantly updating this blog with photos and information on high-quality used clubs purchased in Japan, so please be sure to check back soon!

☆ Late September 2025 Trends in the Japanese Golf Equipment Industry (Forecasts & Related Info)

1. Market Forecasts and the Growth of Indoor Golf

  • Market Size Forecast (2024): According to data from Yano Research Institute (published on August 11, 2025), the golf equipment market size for 2024 is projected to decrease year-over-year. However, it remains a significant market. (Note: This publication was in August 2025 and may not reflect the absolute latest situation).

  • Growth of Indoor Golf:

    • Globally, the indoor golf equipment market is predicted to expand at a high Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR 10.8%) from 2025 onwards, a trend strongly reflected in Japan.

    • Beyond 2025, demand is expected to increase for high-performance equipment featuring advanced simulation technology and detailed data analysis capabilities.

    • With the rise of unstaffed indoor golf facilities, simply being a "novelty" will no longer be enough to attract customers. There is a projected need for better concepts, services, and a greater demand for teaching professionals.

2. Corporate Activity

  • Submission of Substantial Shareholding Reports: A Substantial Shareholding Report for Golf Do Co., Ltd. was confirmed to be submitted as of September 22, 2025. This is key information regarding the company's shareholding structure.

3. Industry Trends

  • High Functionality and Data Focus: Global market trends show an improvement in swing analysis features through the integration of advanced sensor technology (high-speed cameras, Doppler radar, etc.) and AI. This is also influencing the Japanese golf practice and training equipment market.

  • Golf Entertainment: The number of off-course golf players, including those at driving ranges, indoor simulators, and golf entertainment centers like Topgolf, is increasing, signifying a diversification of the market beyond traditional golf courses.

In conclusion, industry news at the end of September highlighted analyses and forecasts concerning the maturation and intensifying competition in the indoor golf market, technological innovation, and future market direction, rather than focusing on specific new product announcements.
