Sudden question: Have you ever been frustrated with the "length" of your irons?

The longer the club, the lower the consistency of contact and the more unstable the direction... Many of us especially find that we hit more slices as the clubs get longer.

One answer to this problem is the "One-Length Iron" setup, famously used by American golf pro Bryson DeChambeau!

This revolutionary setup makes all clubs, from the 5-iron to the Pitching Wedge (PW), the exact same length. Some manufacturers even sell production models, as you know.

🚨Project Initiation! "Modifying a Used Iron Set"

"I have to try this!" So, I decided to take on the challenge of making my own One-Length set!

The concept is simple: "Extreme Modification of a Used Iron Set"! I'll be documenting this modification project starting today.

The base set for this mod is:

S-Yard S.101 (6-piece set from 5-iron to PW)

They're older clubs, but the good thing about a used set is that I don't have to feel bad about making drastic changes (lol).

The goal is to "unify the length of all clubs to that of the PW"!

🔧Today's Task: First, stripping the grips...

As the first step in the modification, I started with the vital process of removing the grips.

Since these clubs have quite a bit of mileage, I struggled a little to strip the grips off, but I finally managed to remove all of them successfully! ✨

Next, in preparation for the shaft cutting, I marked the shafts to match the PW's length. I'll be chopping them off right along this line...
