Last night, I won an interesting driver on a Japanese auction site. It's a PRGR **TR-X 370 DUO Driver** with a 10.5-degree loft.

Although it's a fairly old model, I was drawn to its unique specifications. At 370cc, it's quite compact compared to modern drivers. The shaft is 44.75 inches long, has a flex of SR, and weighs 50g. The entire club weighs just 298g, making it light and easy to swing.

The club's greatest feature is its **DUO Structure**, which combines a titanium body with a crown made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), an aerospace material. This apparently results in a high launch, low spin, and a powerful trajectory. I was particularly surprised by the data showing that spin rates are below 2000 rpm on good shots.

The compact head is known for its maneuverability and ease of ball control. I'm also looking forward to the comfortable, bouncy feel and sharp sound when hitting the ball.

It should have arrived at my home when I return to Japan, so I'll head straight to the driving range to try it out. I can't wait to see what kind of ball I hit!
